When you first create a world or join a server, your character respawns at the world's default spawn location. Once you've built a base, you can change your respawn point and make it your new home.
To do this, you'll need a Temporal Gear.
Using it allows you to save your current location as your new respawn point.
Requirements
- 1 Temporal Gear.
- The location where you want to respawn.
How to Set a New Spawn Point
- Place the Temporal Gear into your hotbar.
- Select it in your active hand.
- Aim at the block where you want your new home to be.
- Hold the right mouse button until the item is consumed.
- Once the animation finishes, your new respawn point is saved.
What Happens Next?
After dying, your character will respawn at the newly selected location instead of the world's original spawn. Each player has their own personal spawn point, so changing yours will not affect anyone else.
Can You Change It Again?
Yes. Simply use another Temporal Gear at a different location to overwrite your previous spawn point.
Tip
It's recommended to set your spawn inside a safe house or protected base so you can quickly recover after death without returning to dangerous areas.
