Immersive Crafting [OBSOLETE] is a Vintage Story mod by DanaCraluminum. Immersive Crafting moves several recipes out of the grid and into the world, using placed liquid containers, crocks, blocks, and tools.

This mod suits players who want crafting to feel more physical and use fewer grid recipes. It is especially useful for kitchens, food preparation, pottery, and storage workflows.

What Immersive Crafting [OBSOLETE] adds

Immersive Crafting lets you interact with placed liquid containers instead of opening a crafting grid. For example, adding a solid ingredient to a water-filled bucket can produce dough, while limewater and sand can be combined into mortar.

The mod also adds contextual tool actions. A knife or sword can cut a placed pineapple into slices, and the same approach works with pumpkins. Other world interactions include soaking a clean bandage in aqua vitae, preparing wet shelled soybeans, and making corn dough.

Placed crocks can be sealed directly with suitable materials, including pitch for Ancient Tools content. Wax can also be applied to cheese that has been placed in the world. The project is obsolete and is no longer maintained; later development moved to Dana Tweaks.
