Accessibility Tweaks

Accessibility Tweaks is a Vintage Story mod by Apache. Accessibility Tweaks adds client-side controls for weather effects, camera motion, colours, brightness, sounds, and movement assistance in Vintage Story.

Why this mod is worth installing

It is useful for players sensitive to flashing, shaking, loud noise, or difficult controls, and for creators who need a more consistent image and sound.

What Accessibility Tweaks adds

The mod can hide rain, hail, lightning, and snow particles while leaving the underlying weather mechanics active. Rain still falls, snow still builds up, and cold damage remains; invisible hail can still hurt and knock the player back. Thunder and rain or hail noise can also be reduced or removed.

Camera options let you weaken temporal-storm distortion, world and perception warping, shaking, involuntary mouse movement, and first-person item bobbing. This makes intense events and status effects less visually disruptive.

Automatic movement shortcuts support double-tap toggles for walking, sprinting, and sneaking. Colour presets, hue and saturation controls, and scene brightness adjustments help with colour vision differences, light sensitivity, screenshots, and streamed footage.

An in-game accessibility hub gathers the available controls in one place. Sound settings provide separate volume control for individual effects, making it easier to reduce harsh or persistent noises without lowering every game sound.
