Aged is a Vintage Story mod by DejFidOFF. Aged adds barrel aging for logs, hay, coal, and more, plus vinegar acid, corroded metal blocks, Molybdochalkos pots, and ruined craftable items.
Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who want more processing stages and ways to obtain aged, corroded, ancient, or normally uncraftable objects. It is especially useful for themed and Skyblock-style worlds.
What Aged adds
Aged turns barrels into a broader material-processing station. Logs, hay, and other inputs can be left to mature, opening recipes that are unavailable through ordinary crafting.
The aging chain also produces vinegar acid and contaminated coal. Solid metal blocks can be made and then processed into corroded versions; iron has an additional rusting step that uses water.
The mod adds the Molybdochalkos cooking pot and recipes for old or ruined objects, including aged furniture, treasure chests, spider webs, and other decorative or practical items. The in-game handbook explains the available barrel recipes.
