What Animal Trader adds
A custom livestock trader can appear during world generation in a dedicated home. The NPC has original dialogue and a vanilla-balanced trade list, making the encounter feel like part of the normal world rather than a shortcut that removes progression.
The trader offers most domesticable baby animals, giving you another route into ranching. Every animal is generation 0, so purchased stock follows the same starting point as animals obtained through ordinary gameplay.
Animal products can be sold back to the trader, with some product colours receiving better prices. The trade list also includes papyrus basket traps, shepherd-themed equipment, rare paintings, and a particularly uncommon surprise.
A small quest adds an extra reason to interact with the NPC beyond buying and selling. The combination of livestock, animal-product trading, and unusual rewards gives the trader a focused role in an expanding homestead.
