What BackpackPack adds
BackpackPack replaces the vanilla backpack recipes with adjusted versions and adds extra steps to the equipment ladder. New metal backpack tiers help connect early-game storage with later material progression instead of making the original options the only milestones.
The standard edition keeps capacities close to the base game, while BackpackPackPlus uses substantially larger values inspired by high-capacity backpack gameplay. These editions are separate alternatives, not upgrades intended to run together.
The mod can be used in an existing world, but backpacks made before changing the mod setup may retain outdated storage data. Replacing those packs is necessary for the new capacities to apply, and switching editions can temporarily make items from the other edition unusable.
