BackpackPackPlus is a Vintage Story mod by Mr1k3. BackpackPackPlus expands every backpack’s storage and adds a broader progression of upgraded packs, while keeping the familiar backpack role.
Why this mod is worth installing
Choose it if vanilla backpacks fill too quickly and you want a much larger inventory without abandoning the standard backpack system. It is especially useful for long expeditions, mining trips, and resource-heavy building.
What BackpackPackPlus adds
BackpackPackPlus replaces the vanilla backpack recipes with improved versions and extends the progression with additional early- and late-game options. The Plus edition uses substantially larger storage values, roughly around twice the base-game capacity.
The mod is a storage and quality-of-life change rather than a new inventory system: backpacks still serve their normal purpose, but each upgrade gives you more room for materials, tools, food, or expedition supplies.
It can be used in an existing world, but backpacks created before installation may need to be crafted again or otherwise remapped before their updated storage values appear. The Plus edition should not be combined with the separate standard edition, because their items use different identifiers.
