What BetterFPCamera adds
BetterFPCamera adds movement-driven tilt and horizontal head bobbing to the first-person view. The camera also reacts to incoming damage with a directional tilt, helping hits feel connected to their source.
Separate shake effects can be used for breaking and placing blocks, dropping items, throwing spears, stones, snowballs, and beenades, as well as firing bows. Damage shake scales with the amount of damage received, and the available settings can be adjusted through the mod’s configuration.
The mod also reworks the death view. While the character is dead, the camera rolls as though the body has fallen to the ground, first-person hands are hidden to prevent visual clipping, and camera yaw follows the body instead of allowing free spinning. It is designed to leave third-person view unaffected and can work alongside immersive first-person mode.
