What Billposting adds
Billposting turns a parchment into a wall-mounted billpost that displays its written contents in the world. Hold the parchment, use the required key combination, and right-click a wall; placement is not restricted to the block grid, so notices can be positioned freely. An empty-hand right-click removes the billpost.
Because billposts are entities rather than blocks, another block cannot be placed directly on top of one. Signed billposts also have controlled pickup access, helping preserve authored notices in shared areas, while claim-related placement can be restricted through the mod’s settings.
The formatting system supports tags for font family, text size, and hexadecimal color. A formatting line affects the following lines, allowing a single parchment to combine a large colored headline with smaller body text. Billposts can also be placed horizontally, making them suitable for more varied wall layouts.
