This QoL mod is useful for hardcore no-map runs, scouting nearby terrain, and checking your surroundings without opening a map. It is also handy when you need a broad overview while travelling or choosing a route.
What Salty´s Bird´s Eye adds
Salty´s Bird´s Eye is a tiny camera utility that lets you zoom much farther out in third-person view than usual. The panoramic perspective reveals more of the landscape at once, making natural landmarks and nearby terrain easier to read.
The mod is designed around no-map gameplay, where visual orientation matters more. Use PgUp or PgDown to adjust the maximum zoom multiplier, while the standard third-person zoom keys, - and +, remain usable with the mod.
The default activation key is B. Once enabled, the expanded view can help you scan the area before moving on, without adding a minimap, markers, or other navigation systems.
