What Blacksmiths adds
Blacksmiths focuses on practical metalworking additions. It introduces recipes for metal sheets and thin sheets that can be attached to solid faces as decorative coverings, giving workshops, walls, and machinery a more finished appearance.
The mod also adds dull and polished sheet-metal blocks, expanding the range of metal construction materials. Chutes become easier to craft, while chutes, hoppers, and complete metal blocks can be recycled instead of being permanently lost when designs change.
Springs give doors an automatic closing function after a short delay. This is useful for entrances that should not remain open, although the mod should be treated as legacy content and used only with a compatible older game version.
