What Fauna of the Stone Age: Bovinae adds
The pack introduces bovines from the Holocene, including the Eurasian auroch and other members of the Bovinae group. They are not passive scenery: these large animals can threaten players and damage the safety of nearby crops, while also providing a demanding hunting target.
A compatible adult male and female can begin a breeding line when kept close together and fed according to their species. Larger animals may provide milk, and each species has its own food needs, gestation timing and progression toward calmer behavior.
Bovines yield distinctive pelts and horns. These resources support hide crafting and the creation of full-body or head taxidermy displays, giving successful hunts a practical and decorative purpose.
Fly-covered carcasses can suppress bovine spawning in a local area. Removing one restores the possibility of new animals appearing, while predators and scavengers may also destroy these carcasses.
