What Canoe Mod adds
The main addition is a birchbark canoe whose wood type follows the logs used in its construction. It moves at the same speed as the raft and sailboat, while offering more useful space than a basic raft: it can carry up to four players, or one player together with two reed baskets and a clay vessel or chest.
The canoe includes a side rack for its carved oar. It can be picked up into an empty bag slot for portaging, making it practical when a water route ends or when you need to move the boat between nearby waterways.
Carved oars are made from rope and logs with a knife, and can be used with the canoe or the vanilla raft. A crude oar also works with the canoe, although it cannot be stored in the canoe’s side rack.
