What Canoe mod adds
The mod introduces a sporty birchbark canoe as a step up from a basic raft. It can transport up to four players, or one player together with two reed baskets and a clay vessel or chest.
Carved oars are crafted in different wood types and can be stored on the canoe’s side rack. They also work with the vanilla raft, while the crude oar remains usable in the canoe but cannot be placed on its rack.
The updated canoe uses the rear seat for rowing and accepts lanterns on its front instead of oil lamps. Its speed is tuned between a raft and a sailboat, making it useful for routine water travel and short expeditions.
When land travel is needed, the canoe can be picked up and carried in an available backpack slot, allowing it to be moved between nearby waterways.
