Fauna of the Stone Age: Capreolinae is a Vintage Story mod by Tentharchitect. Fauna of the Stone Age: Capreolinae adds New World deer, including moose and tundra reindeer, with hunting, breeding, milking and mounting features.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose this mod if you want deer to be faster, less predictable prey and a real threat to crops and careless hunters. It also suits players who want to raise, milk or ride selected species.
What Fauna of the Stone Age: Capreolinae adds
The pack introduces several Capreolinae deer from the Holocene New World. They move faster than familiar prey, often rest in dense vegetation during the day, and can be attracted with suitable crops, berry bushes or food troughs.
Large animals change the risk of an encounter: moose can attack players who approach too closely and are difficult to bring down. Deer provide a more demanding hunting target, while their species-specific diets, breeding requirements and gestation periods make captivity a longer-term project.
Adult males and females of the same species can reproduce when kept close together and fed correctly. Domesticated animals can be milked, while moose and tundra reindeer can be tamed for riding; bred tundra reindeer may also produce domestic offspring.
Most species yield distinctive pelts for hideworking and taxidermy. A craftable, fly-covered moose carcass can suppress local moose spawning, while destroying it or allowing scavengers to remove it restores the possibility of new spawns.
