What Fauna of the Stone Age: Casuariidae Plus adds
The pack introduces cassowaries, emus and other flightless Australian birds. Adults are usually passive, but they can become dangerous when their eggs or chicks are threatened, or when the animals are provoked.
Adult birds can be fed and encouraged to lay eggs in hen boxes. As with chickens in the base game, the eggs must be incubated by the parents, with the responsible parent varying between species.
Fly-covered carcasses may appear in the world and provide early hunters with meat and feathers. Each species also has a distinctive pelt that can be processed into hide, feathers or a full-body taxidermy display.
