Chiseled Wall Mounting is a Vintage Story mod by Queltis. Chiseled Wall Mounting lets torches, paintings, racks and other wall items attach to chiseled block surfaces at the aimed voxel depth.
Why this mod is worth installing
This mod is useful for builders who want detailed interiors and facades without limiting wall-mounted decorations to full blocks or completely flat chiseled faces.
What Chiseled Wall Mounting adds
The mod changes how wall-mounted objects find their attachment point on chiseled blocks. Torches, lanterns, oil lamps, paintings, tapestries, antler and shield mounts, tool racks, vertical racks, and tools leaning against walls can use the depth of the voxel you target.
A perfectly flat chiseled face is not required. The object receives a visual and collision offset based on the aimed voxel, as long as that position does not intersect a voxel closer to the original block face.
The item still occupies the air block in front of the chiseled block. This means the adjusted appearance does not create an extra placement space for another object in that same air block.
