Why this mod is worth installing
This is useful for older Claims setups where mayors and alliance leaders need clearer map control and quick access to settlement details. The mod is obsolete because its functionality was moved into Claims.
What [Obsolete] CANExt adds
CANExt added a map view for claimed plots, drawing colored squares with visible borders and transparent centers. Hovering over a plot could reveal the city name, while additional information included mayors and population.
The extension also displayed city chest-bank markers and offered a settlement information interface with details about a player’s city, alliance, or village. Keyboard shortcuts opened the plot overlay and, after activation, the bank view.
Mayors and alliance leaders could assign preset colors to city plots through commands, with an option in Claims to restrict color changes to alliances. The project description also mentions planned RGB colors and sabotage mechanics, but these were not established core features.
