It is useful for builders who need large roofing-material batches and want to automate clay processing instead of shaping every piece by hand.
What Clay Press adds
Clay Press adds a small processing route to the pulverizer. Feed it red, blue, or fire clay through a chest or crate and a chute, and the machine produces raw tiles. Manual placement into the pulverizer is not supported.
The raw tiles can be processed once more in the pulverizer or shaped manually into raw shingles. The conversion is more economical than ordinary clayforming: three clay can ultimately become twelve shingles instead of requiring four clay for the same amount.
This makes the mod especially convenient for automated workshops and large roofing projects. It changes the repetitive part of clay preparation while leaving the rest of the building workflow familiar.
