What Clothing Visually Degrades adds
Warm clothing items with codes beginning with “clothes” receive a visible damage effect similar to armor. Their durability controls how ragged the item appears, so heavily worn garments look visibly damaged instead of remaining unchanged until they fail.
The visual transition is gradual. Clothing stays pristine while it has more than half of its durability, then progressively becomes tattered as its condition drops further.
Each affected clothing item receives 100 durability, and the mod prevents its condition from falling below one point. Clothes can therefore become extremely worn without disappearing or becoming unusable through complete breakage.
Condition loss is reduced to one tenth of the normal rate, making visible wear a slower gameplay concern and reducing the need for frequent repairs.
