Coinage is a Vintage Story mod by Xel. Coinage adds custom coin design, minting tools, storage, display blocks, and optional mechanical automation to Vintage Story.

What Coinage adds
Coinage lets you make a coin punch, choose a shape, and place a custom design on it. A trussell holds the design, while planchets provide the blank metal pieces that are struck into finished coins with a hammer and coining anvil.
The mod includes trussells, coin punches, anvils, supporting stumps, coin bags, and shelves for displaying a collection. Coins and unused planchets can be melted back into ingots, and a trussell's design can be removed by chiseling it away.
Minting can remain manual or be automated. A coin press connected by a belt to the minter can use mechanical power to process planchets, with a hopper collecting the resulting coins.
Creating a coin punch
The first stage is crafting a coin punch and choosing the shape and placement of the custom design.
Preparing the trussell
A trussell receives the selected coin design and becomes the form used for striking it.
Making planchets
The coin punch is used to produce blank metal planchets ready for minting.
Striking the finished coins
Hammering the design into the planchets creates the custom coins.
Automated coin minting
