What Conquest Geology Overhaul adds
The overhaul introduces many rock types plus additional gravel and sand variants. At this stage, most new materials primarily serve as host rocks for ore deposits, while selected vanilla variants can be ground for resources or used for knapping. Rock composition also gives materials different mining resistance, and softer stone can be worked before copper tools are smelted.
World generation now distributes related rock forms through their parent strata. Columnar, porous, and weathered versions can appear within the corresponding vanilla rock, making exposed terrain less uniform and giving cave trips more visual variety. Flint is restricted to suitable sedimentary rock, while speleothems occur in calcium-rich formations.
The mod also supplies custom rock models for construction, including models for vanilla and modded blocks. These are currently available through the creative inventory, with broader survival use planned for later development. Conquest VS Edition is a required dependency, and the overhaul is intended for a fresh world because existing terrain can produce chunk errors.
New Rock Variants and Vanilla Rock Changes
