Continental World is a Vintage Story mod by badgerson. Continental World reshapes ocean and land generation into distinct, coherent continents, while keeping landforms unchanged.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose it if you want clearer separation between continents, more dependable starting land, and ocean sizes that suit exploration. It also pairs well with terrain-focused worldgen mods.
What Continental World adds
Continental World replaces the usual ocean-map logic with cellular Voronoi noise. Seed regions are assigned to land or ocean according to the landcover setting, then layered distortion gives coastlines a less geometric appearance. This produces broad, recognizable landmasses instead of a scattered collection of small islands.
Story locations, including the spawn area, influence nearby generation so they receive a properly sized continent. The mod does not alter hills, valleys, or other landforms, leaving those systems available to other world-generation additions.
Its settings let you tune continent scale, cellular jitter, coastline warping, and island frequency. Landcover controls the overall balance: lower values create more ocean, while higher values make land dominant. A moderate landcover value and the default scale provide a practical exploration layout, while larger scale values create more expansive seas.
