Catch and Release: Fish is a Vintage Story mod by MortalityGames. Catch fish alive with a fishing pole, then keep them in four aquarium sizes filled with water or even honey.

Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who want fish as living decorations rather than ordinary food. It is also useful for aquarium displays and works as an add-on companion to Catch and Release: Butterflies, with Catch and Release Lib required.
What Catch and Release: Fish adds
The fishing pole changes from killing fish on contact to catching them alive. You can release a catch, place it in an aquarium, or process it into a dead fish with a knife or cleaver; fish lying on the ground can also be picked up.
Four aquarium sizes provide different display capacities. Fill each tank with suitable fresh or salt water, or use honey for an unusual setup, then add other items much like placing objects in a display case.
Fish swim calmly inside the aquarium and do not become frightened by nearby players. If live fish are left without an aquarium or release, they can eventually die, depending on the mod’s settings.
