What Cut the hides adds
Any knife or shears can be used to cut pelts and hides in raw, scraped, prepared, or salted states. The result is a set of smaller pieces that can be handled separately for crafting.
The yield depends on the source size: medium pieces produce two, large pieces produce three, and huge pieces produce five smaller pelts or hides. Huge hides otherwise retain their existing 3/3 behavior.
The mod also adjusts two material recipes: large chromium hides require two liters of solution, while sturdy leather uses two wax. This is a focused crafting tweak rather than a new progression system.
