Darker Walnut is a Vintage Story mod by Nysilla and ALollipop. Darker Walnut replaces Vintage Story’s walnut textures with a deeper brown tone and removes much of the purple-blue cast.
Why this mod is worth installing
This texture pack is for players who find the default walnut too bright, purple, or blue and want woodworking blocks to look more natural.
What Darker Walnut adds
Darker Walnut is a focused visual replacement for walnut wood. It shifts the material toward a richer, darker brown, making planks and crafted wooden parts fit more easily with subdued building palettes.
The pack also includes adjusted walnut textures for Food Shelves and Purposeful Storage, so supported storage blocks can keep the same darker appearance instead of reverting to the original color. It changes presentation only and does not add new blocks or mechanics.
