What Diverse Diets adds
The mod broadens the foods recognized by animal troughs. Bush meat, fish meat, poultry, raw chicken eggs, red meat, termites, and thatch can be placed there as additional feeding choices.
Several items also receive diet tags so animals can identify them by food category: bones count as bone, fish meat as fish, eggs as egg, termites as insect, and thatch as grass. This makes the expanded food selection work with animals whose diets use those categories.
