What Divine Ascension adds
Divine Ascension lets you join or establish a religion devoted to one of five domains. Your chosen domain shapes the activities that grant extra favor, while the deity can receive any name, giving each faith its own identity without changing its gameplay role.
Personal favor and communal prestige form two connected progression tracks. Favor raises an individual through ranks and unlocks personal blessings, while prestige reflects the work of the whole religion, unlocks group benefits, and supports more advanced alliances.
Blessings provide lasting improvements such as better tool durability, increased ore or forage yields, stronger food production, and improved health. The branching tree can be reviewed in the in-game codex, with options to remove selected upgrades and recover their cost.
Religions can cooperate as civilizations and use diplomacy to pursue alliances, peace, or war. Progress also continues through passive favor generation and the contributions of other members, so the system remains useful for both active and occasional players.
