Dress to Impress is a Vintage Story mod by capra and Chiruda. Dress to Impress adds medieval-fantasy clothing with multiple colours and metal variants, made for everyday outfits and roleplay in Vintage Story.
Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who want more character customisation, period-inspired outfits, and decorative clothing for roleplay scenes or daily life.
What Dress to Impress adds
Dress to Impress is a clothing-focused mod built around medieval-fantasy styling. Its garments are intended to work as regular wearable outfits rather than purely ceremonial items, making them useful for villagers, travellers, artisans, and roleplay characters.
Many pieces come in a broad selection of colours, while selected accessories use different metal finishes. This gives players room to coordinate clothing with a character concept, settlement theme, profession, or existing armour and accessories.
The clothing is obtained through schematics. Any player can craft a schematic using parchment and a small selection of minerals and charcoal, while producing the actual garments requires a skilled tailor or, in some cases, a tinkerer.
The Watcher necklace is an exception: it is not currently made through normal crafting and is available through the creative menu. Decorative garter stockings are also included for players who want to add smaller details to an outfit.
