What Durable Better Prospecting adds
Durable Better Prospecting expands the usual prospecting workflow with several reading styles. Density can remain close to the vanilla method or be simplified to use a single sampled block, while Node preserves the familiar node-oriented result. Rock reports the nearest distance to each detected rock type, Column lists ores through the vertical range from the mantle upward, and Distance reports the nearest deposits by ore type in short, medium, or long ranges.
Quantity builds on the vanilla node approach with a larger search range and additional options. Modes and their range variants can be enabled or hidden individually, helping keep the prospecting interface focused on the methods you actually use.
Results can be sorted by distance or quantity, and optional direction text can accompany the numerical reading when the server permits it. Long-range Column, Distance, and Quantity samples may also place a map marker, giving you a useful reference for returning to promising areas.
The mod is designed as a configurable utility rather than a cheat that reveals every deposit instantly. Settings can be synchronized while playing, including on multiplayer servers, so changes to available modes and shared behavior do not require a world reload.
