What EasyProspect adds
EasyProspect changes the prospecting pick so a single sample is enough to complete a prospecting check instead of the usual three. This makes surveying an area quicker and reduces the amount of repeated digging and sampling.
The pick still loses three durability points by default when used, so the faster sampling does not automatically change tool wear. An optional configuration setting can reduce that loss to one durability point, letting you choose between the standard durability cost and a lighter one.
