Ecosystem - Flora is a Vintage Story mod by YourCreator. Ecosystem - Flora simulates a living plant world in Vintage Story with seasons, niches, competition, growth, spread, survival, and extinction.

Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who want vegetation to change over time instead of remaining static. It is especially useful for survival worlds focused on natural landscapes and ecological progression.
What Ecosystem - Flora adds
Ecosystem - Flora adds a simulation layer to vanilla plant blocks. Flowers, grass, ferns, berry bushes, reeds, rushes, water lilies, vines, mushrooms, and trees respond to light, moisture, seasons, and available space.
Plants occupy ecological niches and compete for them. Grass develops through growth stages, ferns prefer conditions suited to their species, and aquatic vegetation gradually fills shores, shallow water, or the surface of ponds.
Trees can slowly take over nearby areas while aging according to the calendar, dying, and leaving stumps or fallen logs. Vines spread over surfaces, including trees and buildings, while mycelium expands when its conditions are suitable and disappears when they are not.
The system can also work with supported plant additions, allowing flowers, grasses, trees, and other vegetation from compatible mods to participate in the simulated ecosystem.
