Entities Configuration is a Vintage Story mod by Dnd. Entities Configuration adds an in-game panel for adjusting world-generation and runtime spawn rates of base-game creatures and supported animal mods.
Why this mod is worth installing
It is useful for players who want fewer dangerous creatures, a quieter world, or better-balanced animal populations when using several creature mods.
What Entities Configuration adds
The mod provides an ImGui-based configuration window where each supported creature has separate controls. You can adjust both world-generation spawning, which affects newly discovered chunks, and runtime spawning around the player.
World-generation values use a compact range intended to prevent extreme results, while runtime settings use a broader scale for creatures that appear during normal play. The two systems can therefore be tuned independently.
Entities Configuration covers base-game animals and a wide selection of creatures from Fauna of the Stone Age, Hieronymus Packs, Untamed Wilds: Ursidae, Medieval Expansion, Primitive Survival, Something in the Water, and other supported packs.
Creature notes in the interface explain special cases, including animals whose world-generation value of zero also prevents runtime spawning. This makes it easier to reduce duplicate species when another mod adds replacements.
