What Expanded Molds adds
Expanded Molds fills several gaps in the standard mold selection with additional non-bladed tool and equipment shapes. Sharp implements remain anvil-made, while the new Chain Ring Mold lets you cast chain rings for bronze-tier and lower chainmail.
Its main feature is a set of tier-locked bulk casting molds. They are not an early shortcut: each one requires a fired fire-clay core, a suitable bronze or iron plate, nails, strips, and the tools needed to assemble the finished mold.
Once completed, these detailed molds function like ordinary casting molds while taking less workshop space. Their progression requirements make them a practical reward for developing a more advanced smithing and casting setup.
