What Forgotten Armory: Landsknechts adds
The set reimagines the vanilla brigandine as a stronger Landsknecht-style armor line. Its flamboyant historical theme gives heavily equipped characters a distinct mercenary look while keeping the gear tied to the existing armor progression.
Each armor piece requires its own schematic. These plans can turn up in newly generated ruins or become available from the Treasure Trader after a restock, making exploration and trading important parts of the unlock process.
Crafting is deliberately costly because the equipment represents late-game workmanship. Once made, however, the armor is intended to be relatively easy to maintain, rewarding players who invest in the required materials and rare discoveries.
