What Farmland Drops Soil adds
Breaking farmland now checks its soil type instead of leaving that soil permanently lost. A Terra Preta field can therefore provide Terra Preta again when removed, making farm layouts easier to revise.
The return is not guaranteed when the field has depleted nutrients. The mod compares the lowest current nutrient value with that soil’s maximum and uses the resulting proportion as the chance to recover the soil.
For example, a Terra Preta field with N=80, P=60, and K=40 has a 40/80, or 50%, recovery chance. Fully restored nutrients give the best chance, so moving a field immediately after heavy cultivation can be wasteful.
