What Forgotten Armory: Varangian Style adds
The mod introduces two armor families. Guard is the lighter set with masked and open helmets, a chestplate and legplate, while Captain is heavier and offers Captain, Myrmidon and Veteran chest designs alongside its own legplates and helmets.
Armor is discovered through schematics found in ruins or acquired from the Treasure Trader. Scrolls must be decoded at the appropriate Forgotten Armory workstation before the equipment becomes craftable.
Several metals and modular decorations let you change the final appearance. Metallic covers, trims, rivets, cloth and animal-based details can be combined through the shared Forgotten Armory systems, making the same armor base visually flexible.

The lighter Guard armor set is presented as a complete Varangian equipment line.
Captain Set
The Guard line is the lighter Varangian set, with masked and unmasked helmets, a chestplate and legplate using the modular Forgotten Armory decoration system. The heavier Captain line adds masked and unmasked helmets, Captain legplates, and Captain, Myrmidon and Veteran chestplates.
