What Feverstone Wilds adds
Feverstone Wilds expands the fauna of Vintage Story with forest wanderers, earth-born golems and geode crabs, oversized direwolves, cockatrices, hellboars and other dangerous encounters. Smaller creatures such as spiders and toads can be caught with a bugnet and moved elsewhere.
The mod adds several mounts and working animals. Horses are included directly, while direwolves, ostriches and bison bring different options for travel and utility; saddled horses and bison can carry storage, and bison can also be milked.
Water environments receive sharks, stingrays, orcas, eels and several unusual fish, including the translucent ghostfish with a glowing skeleton. Savannahs and southern regions gain ostriches, bison, giraffes and scorpions, giving different areas more distinctive wildlife.
Taming and creature interaction are central to the experience. With PetAI installed, additional interactions become available for selected animals, including horses, bison, cockatrices, ostriches and direwolves.
