What Floating Landmasses adds
Floating Landmasses changes world generation by introducing gigantic islands suspended above the ordinary landscape. They appear very rarely, so encountering one feels like finding a major landmark rather than seeing the feature everywhere.
The upper surface is not limited to one preset biome. Depending on generation, a floating island may carry woodland or a wide frozen sheet, creating a self-contained destination with a very different atmosphere from the ground below.
The mod spaces these formations far apart, with roughly two thousand blocks between appearances by default. Its landmass data also exposes the floating-island spawn weight, allowing the frequency to be adjusted for a more common or more elusive discovery.
