What Food Shelves adds
Food Shelves expands ordinary shelf storage with dedicated blocks for bread, eggs, pies, cheese, fruit, and other food categories. These containers make better use of vertical space and let you keep related ingredients and meals organized instead of mixing everything in general-purpose storage.
The mod also adds specialized drying and curing storage, including jar- and barrel-rack-style blocks. Some containers provide extra preservation benefits, while the Handbook and block tooltips explain accepted items and any active bonuses.
For food that spoils quickly, cooling furniture offers another layer of protection. Cooling Cabinets and Meat Freezers can be supplied with ice to slow decay, and decorative baskets can hold fruit while also benefiting from refrigerated storage.
