What Gardener's Delight adds
The mod adds propagation recipes for flowers and mushrooms, plus root recipes for papyrus and cattails. Plant tops are processed with shears and rot to create the corresponding roots, making these plants suitable for farming.
Mushroom cultivation depends on temperature, with growth working between 10 and 28 °C. Field mushrooms, almond mushrooms, and puffballs can spread from mushroom-bearing soil across an open 5×5 area; rain shortens the growth interval, while a full area stops further spread.
Other mushrooms and flowers use a tree-centered setup with forest floor and mushroom-bearing soil beneath the tree. Flower seeds are crafted and planted on soil, then require about ten days to mature. Mushroom patches have a finite yield before the soil becomes barren.
