What Gondola Cable Car adds
Gondola Cable Car lets you construct powered routes over mountains, valleys, caves and mining areas. Cabins travel along the cable, turning difficult crossings into a repeatable transport connection rather than a one-time journey.
The main cabins use a shared infrastructure of cables and stations, while the compact gondolas belong to a separate small system. You can choose between a practical wood-and-metal cabin, an ornate gold design, an industrial steampunk version, a damaged budget cabin or a high-capacity Viking ship.
Cabins are not fixed interiors. Their floor bays can be fitted with seats, compatible storage containers and, where supported, a radio receiver. Passenger layouts, cargo arrangements and mixed configurations are therefore built around the needs of each route.
The Viking ship offers eight bays and greater cargo capacity, but demands more mechanical power and additional clearance around curves and stops. The derelict cabin is cheaper and more limited, while small gondolas can circulate together on a compact loop.

The classic gondola combines wood and metal for a versatile passenger and cargo cabin. It suits ordinary settlements, mountain railways and routes where a practical appearance matters.

Rotten, Rusty & Questionably Safe
The neglected budget cabin is visibly worn, rusty and incomplete, but remains usable for transport. Its four lower bays support limited equipment and cargo arrangements.
A Longship Above the Landscape
A Viking longship gondola hangs above the terrain with raised ends and a steering wheel. Its eight bays provide room for more passengers or containers than the standard cabin.
One Seat or Two Containers
This compact gondola belongs to the separate small cable system. It can carry one seat or two stacked containers, and multiple cabins can circulate on the same loop.
How to Build a Medium Cable Car Route
