What Grinding Wheel Rework adds
The grinding wheel can now handle a broader selection of tools and weapons. Each grinding action restores 20 points of current durability, while permanently lowering maximum durability by 5 points, so repeated repairs gradually wear an item out.
Mining-oriented tools can receive a mining-speed improvement, while combat tools and weapons retain their normal damage-related benefit. The temporary bonus lasts for a portion of the item’s maximum durability and can reach 10%.
The system is intentionally selective: items with maximum durability below 20 may break during repair, and unsuitable equipment is excluded rather than being forced into the mechanic. Support for additional modded items can be added through their identifiers.
