Pet Hare is a Vintage Story mod by jayu. Pet Hare lets you tame baby hares, name them, feed them, and give them commands through PetAI.

Why this mod is worth installing
This mod is for players who want hares as manageable companions rather than ordinary wildlife. PetAI is required because Pet Hare uses it as its creature-taming framework.
What Pet Hare adds
Only baby hares can be tamed, so it is useful to trap one before starting the process. Grass, grain, and vegetables raise affinity by different amounts and have separate feeding cooldowns.
At full affinity, the hare can be named. Shift-right-click opens its commands, while obedience determines which orders it will follow; vegetarian pet cookies provide a large obedience boost but can only be used periodically.
A pet whistle lets you issue commands from farther away. Tamed hares can also interact and breed, producing ordinary hares. Removing the mod makes its tamed entities disappear.
PetAI dependency
PetAI is the framework that supplies tameable-creature functionality. It does not add gameplay by itself, but Pet Hare needs it to work.
