What Healing Springs adds
Standing in hot water gradually restores health: the default effect heals 0.1 HP every 1.5 seconds, or about 4 HP per minute. This makes a hot spring a recovery spot rather than only a decorative feature.
Hot water can be collected and transported in buckets, allowing players to create a private onsen or move the healing water closer to a settlement. The healing effect and its timing can be adjusted, or healing can be turned off while keeping bucket transport available.
