What Heat Retention adds
The mod introduces oakum, made by combining flax fibers. It serves as a compact insulation material for chiseled blocks that would otherwise leave drafts in a building.
Apply oakum to a chiseled block with a single click to make that block insulated. This is especially useful for decorative windows and other detailed wall sections where a full half-block wall would look too bulky.
Oakum has limited durability, so each insulated block consumes part of its available use. The material cost and maximum durability can be adjusted for a particular modpack.
