Immersive Phototrophy is a Vintage Story mod by OmegaHaxors. Immersive Phototrophy lets your character photosynthesize, restoring saturation and stamina from nearby light instead of relying entirely on food.

Why this mod is worth installing
This mod suits players who find hunger tedious and want a survival style built around sunlight, exposure, and the risks of living like a plant.
What Immersive Phototrophy adds
Use /photosynthesis to switch between an ordinary animal state and a plant-like state. While transformed, your character converts light into saturation and oxygen, restoring stamina as well as energy. Sunlight is not the only source: held lights, illuminated blocks, and light emitted by entities can also help.
The system rewards exposed skin. More uncovered body means stronger energy production and better movement, while clothing and armor reduce the light reaching you. Plant traits include reduced damage from sources normally blocked by armor, light-based movement and digging bonuses, and a permanent slowdown that represents the weight of the plant body.
Sleeping in direct sunlight provides an additional way to gain nourishment, but it consumes valuable daylight. Winters, darkness, hostile attacks, and heavy equipment therefore become meaningful threats rather than minor inconveniences.
The /exposure command shows your current light-based production and exposed-skin level. A per-player plantlevel value controls the strength of the benefits and penalties, letting you keep the default balanced setting or tune the transformation to your preferred challenge.
