Immersive Rope Crafting is a Vintage Story mod by Actual_Dio. Immersive Rope Crafting lets you braid rope directly in the world from several fiber sources, using fewer materials than the standard recipe.

Choose it if you want rope making to feel like a hands-on activity rather than a simple grid recipe. It is especially useful for players who gather grass, cattails, vines, or flax in the wild.
What Immersive Rope Crafting adds
To begin, place a loose stone on the ground and Shift-right-click it with a fiber source. This creates an unfinished rope that can be filled by right-clicking it with additional materials.
Different ingredients contribute different amounts of fiber: dry grass and flax fibers provide little, while cattails and wildvine provide much more. You can combine sources in one rope, but excess fiber from the final addition is lost.
A rope requires 32 fiber in total. Once filled, braid it with an empty hand and no offhand item. The default process takes 16 actions of one second each, and sitting reduces the time per action.
