Immersive Woodworking is a Vintage Story mod by Bobrik00. Immersive Woodworking replaces menu-based timber crafting with physical stations for splitting, sawing, debarking, and automated wood processing.

Why this mod is worth installing
Choose it if you want woodworking in Vintage Story to feel like a hands-on workshop rather than an instant recipe. It suits players who enjoy physical crafting and configurable automation.
What Immersive Woodworking adds
The mod adds a placed stump for splitting logs into firewood, sawhorses for supporting timber, and a dedicated pit saw for cutting logs lengthwise into planks and beams. Bark can be removed at the sawhorse with a knife, an axe and hammer combination, or a crafted bark spud.
Several multiblock machines handle repetitive work after construction: one processes logs into planks and debarked logs into beams, while another makes firewood and sticks. Driftwood can also be snapped directly in hand, and custom animations show the physical actions involved.
Its default settings aim to stay close to vanilla balance, while extensive configuration lets you alter output, animation speed, and other behavior. The system is also designed to accept logs from additional tree mods.
