What Jack's Dryable Firewood adds
Firewood can be left to dry for roughly 648 in-game hours, or 27 in-game days. The result is Aged Firewood, which burns for about half again as long and reaches temperatures of up to 933 degrees, making meals heat faster and providing a stronger starter fuel for smelting.
Aged Firewood remains usable for charcoal production and can be placed in Pit Kilns. In a kiln it dries pottery in about 16 hours, matching peat. Drying on the ground is much slower, so suitable ground storage is important if you want to process large quantities efficiently.
